Front Desk Department

Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Ascertains their lodging, purchasing needs. Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.

A Bellman’s main duty is carrying luggage for the guests as they come to or leave the hotel. He should also attend the main entrance door and welcome/farewell guests, arrange and manage transfers, help guests with directions and perform as the first and last impression for them.

The PBX Operator is responsible for expediting all incoming calls in a timely and accurate manner, monitoring fire alarms, and responding to emergency situations, as well as handling guest messages, wake-up calls, and phone billings.

Special Project

A Deep Cleaning Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms hallways and public areas in the hotel servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures stocking cart with room supplies and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. This role is also responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

Collect waste and recycling door to door or building to building within an assigned hotel and transfer to the trash compactor onsite. Collection must begin and end at the designated time. inspect and maintain trash compactor, halls, stairs and floors according to Valet Waste standards.

Engineering Department

As a hotel engineer, it’s your job to troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, facilities, and systems (including HVAC and electrical). Your job duties include performing preventative maintenance, making regular inspections, coordinating the maintenance staff, diagnosing potential problems, and staying within budget.

The Engineer II is a major role of importance within the Engineering. Responsible for the repair, maintenance, upkeep of the property in accordance with hotel standards. Will also assist in other areas of Engineering as assigned.

The Engineer, Level III is responsible for performing skilled repairs to the building and equipment and to maintain the best possible condition at all times with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and employees. High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.

Regularly checks water readings, filters, pump valves, tanks, gauges and vents; Maintains pumps and motors at all pool facilities; Performs repair work in and around pools, filter room, chlorine room or on the pool decks; Supervises and participates in emergency repair situations

Also known as carpet cleaners, carpet cleaning technicians clean and maintain carpets and floors in homes, businesses, and government buildings. They perform pre-cleaning inspections, apply treatments, and remove stains using hand and machine cleaning tools.

Kitchen Department

Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc. Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.

A Line Cook prepares food and makes sure Servers deliver each dish to customers in a timely manner. A Line Cook is responsible for that station’s workflow and getting meals out on time. They oversee the cooking process from start to finish and determine how much time each step requires.

Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items. Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes. Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage. Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.

Cook II prepares menu dishes following established recipes and using designated ingredients that meet production and quality standards. Utilizes portion and presentation standards to create appealing and flavorful dishes. Being a Cook II may prepare unique dishes to fulfill customer requests.

A Cook III is responsible for maintaining, setting up, producing fine dinning food and controlling quality of all food items prepared in the different kitchen stations, i.e., meats, fish, vegetables, bread products, sauces, stocks, seasoning, etc.

Washes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas. Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.

Food & Beverage Department

A Host or Hostess makes sure that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a warm and welcoming environment for patrons from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts or Hostesses typically provide menus, take names for reservations and answer the phone.

Servers also known as Waiter, Waitresses, and Banquet Servers serve food and beverages to customers in dining establishments such as hotels and restaurants. They anticipate the needs of the guests and respond professionally to requests.

A breakfast attendant works in a hotel and is responsible for the breakfast served to guests. Breakfast attendants oversee the setup and takedown of the breakfast buffet, as well as maintain the dining space, ensure food is available, accept payment, and provide any other guest services.

Picks up food product for orders placed by the service staff and delivers the meal to our guests. Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience.

Busser responsibilities include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables.

A Barback is an assistant to the Bartender. They ensure bartenders have the supplies they need to provide service to customers. A Barback has many responsibilities like stocking, restocking and keeping their work area clean.

The Banquet Set Up Attendant must ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly set in a timely manner, so that the banquet service staff may prepare for functions. Responsible for timely and safe breakdown of meeting rooms after event completion.

Banquet Server responsibilities include serving food and beverages, helping prepare the event space and cleaning up the event space once the affair is complete.

A Barista is a professional who makes and serves beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages. They are responsible for taking customer orders and payments.

Handling guests at the bar, clearing and setting tables, serving food, handling cash and credit card charges, communicating room charges to Front Desk, serving alcohol, stocking and cleaning the bar, and coordinating guest requests are the primary functions of the job.

Housekeeping Department

Neatly makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policies. Cleans and disinfects bathroom and kitchenette or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel polices. Wipes surfaces in room and cleans mirrors.

Inspect the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Work with and train room attendants to ensure daily tasks are completed timely and accurately. Inspect housekeeping carts and closets to ensure that they are properly stocked.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will be expected to wash, dry, and fold personal items and hotel linens. You will be also responsible for sorting the laundry by color shades and materials. You should have exceptional knowledge of using dry cleaning equipment and various laundry techniques.

Responsible for clearing all trash, weeds, brush and debris from the hotel grounds. Responsible for watering all plants and flowers located on hotel grounds. Responsible for weeding, mulching and tree trimming whenever necessary or as directed.
